What the hell is Tony doing?

That is a very good question. As if using services such as Google’s and Facebook wasn’t enough to be concerned, I’ve decided to give my privacy yet another slap on the face (and in the process permanently taking off my tin foil hat). This time around I wrote a small PHP script that aggregates all feeds of my sites (www.rubyninja.org, www.rubysecurity.org, gallery, and soon to be github) and sends an update to both Facebook and Twitter about the new postings made on the sites.

The script is really simple, it parses through the XML feeds and stores them on a database. While it is live, I’m planning on cleaning it up a little bit and posting the code on GitHub. So now, if you have me on either social networking site, prepare to be spammed about the random crap that I do.
